About
Partners Tony and Kate set up Funtastic Entertainment in 2002. Prior to this Tony lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne working for one of the country’s largest entertainment companies. Tony’s previous employer trained him to specialise in inflatable games, simulators and various other pieces of entertainment equipment. Tony has worked at a varied range of events and with people of a variety of personal backgrounds, statuses and even those within television broadcastings.
Funtastic are suppliers of event equipment specialising in inflatable and mechanical fun equipment. We are based in Cumbria and supply equipment mainly throughout the northwest yet also around the UK. We have supplied equipment throughout Preston, Blackpool and Lancashire, Penrith, Carlisle, Newcastle and Manchester.
Funtastic provide a professional ‘safe play and use’ service with quality products at realistic prices. We ensure all staff are fully trained to operate all equipment in a safe and sensible manner. Training ensures all employees are able to erect, operate and dismantle equipment safely. Entertainment
All equipment supplied by Funtastic is maintained and tested to the highest standards. Regular checks are carried out and equipment is always checked prior to events. Funtastic are covered by £1 million pound public liability insurance, which also covers us to hire equipment to licensed premises. We are also members of the BIHA, which offers advice and recommendations to the public and hirers with regards to inflatable equipment.
Funtastic are able to hire in additional services, such as St John Ambulance, indoor and outdoor catering services, Mobile drinks suppliers, venue decorators, balloon and cake designers. We also work closely with other hire companies who are able to offer equipment we may not have available.

Rodeo Bull / Multi Ride
The rodeo bull is absolutely fantastic fun for watchers and riders. Test your skills by trying to keep a-hold as the raging bull bucks and spins until he throws you off. Surrounded by an inflatable bed the riders are cushioned as the fall. The rodeo bull is fantastic at any event and is suitable for riders of all ages.
An operator is supplied who is trained to control the equipment to suit the rider’s age and ability. But remember ‘you will fall off’. The following attachment can be used as a multi ride with the rodeo bull. Surfboard and spinning disk. The rodeo bull needs floor space of 4.5 square metres (14foot) and height clearance of 3metres (9 foot)

Spinning Disk / Multi Ride
Also known as human roulette the disk spins and tilts as the riders hold on. Trying to grip with all their strength as the speeds build up and the tilts get steeper. The spinning disk is excellent fun at any event, encouraging riders to compete with one another to see who can hold on for the longest.

Surf Simulator
Great fun for all types of events, such as, parties, nightclubs, galas and corporate events. Challengers climb aboard and try to keep their balance as the surfboard tilts back and fourth until the surfer falls onto the sea blue inflatable bed. Challengers can compete against one another to see who is the best surfer.

Ride of your Life Mannequins (male & female)
The mannequins are the ultimate equipment for adult fun. They are perfect for staff parties, hen nights, stag parties and even nightclubs love them! They are two ‘very revealing’ mannequins positioned in such away you are only able to hold onto certain body parts. These guys tilt to make your body move with theirs. There are two attachments, one is male and the other is female. You are able to hire one or both attachments depending on your event. The mannequins also come with an inflatable four-poster bed decorated with images of ribbons, handcuffs and whips for added authenticity.

Adult Sumo Wrestling
Hilarious fun! Opponents place the super sized sumo suits on and attempt to wrestle one another. These suits are over-padded and oversized and it is virtually impossible to wrestle one another. They are supplied with a sumo wrestling mat, neck safety braces and protective helmets. Ideal from users aged 14 onwards. Children’s suits are available for ages approximately 5 years onwards.
Sumo wrestling suits can be supplied with or without an operator depending on your event. If supplied without an operator it is essential a suitable adult is chosen to supervise the games. Sumo wrestling needs floor space of 4 metres squared (approx 12 foot) for the wrestling mat.

Bouncy Castles
The bouncy castle is an all time favorite for children of all ages. A bouncy castle is a very popular item for a variety of events, such as parties, galas and fun-days. We have different sized castles to suit different ages. Prices start from £35.00 for four hours hire.
Floor space for a bouncy castle depends of the size of the castle hired. Sizes vary from 11foot x15 foot. They can be operated if your event required it but usually hirers are happy to control the users of the castle themselves.
